About UsThe staff and birds of Phoenix Falconry have been presenting high quality "Hands-on” experience days, gala demonstrations, corporate days and film and television work for quite a few years..... After almost twenty years at our old Braco castle base, we decided to build a brand new facility a few miles along the road! We are extremely proud to have created our brand new breeding, hunting and education facility at Easterton Farm, right next door to the world famous Gleneagles hotel.
Famed for its stunning views and landscape we are fortunate to be based in this wonderful part of the world which abounds with Scotland’s magnificent wildlife and majestic scenery! Our custom designed facility offers luxury accommodation for our cherished collection of birds, with heated, state of the art aviaries and accommodations for their comfort, Incubator and rearing rooms, and an indoor interactive artificial insemination project. We manage and house in the highest of standards a collection of approximately 60 Hawks, Falcons, Eagles Owls and Buzzards from around the world including some of the rarest or unusual species found in the country. Our head falconer "Adrian Hallgarth” is a recognised expert and author on falconry, and has accumulated our collection over a lifetime allowing us unrivalled experienced species from around the world.
For our human guests we have created a luxury reception centre with comfortable airy surroundings in which to enjoy presentations, film and photography footage or simply a cup of tea and a biscuit whilst you browse the natural history displays or original wildlife artwork by famous artist "Alan Hayman” of the "Glenlyon galley” and, for your peace of mind, private estate parking.
We are fortunate to have access to the adjacent 800 acres of mature parklands and forest in which to fly and hunt with our birds. And we manage the game in our area to allow us unrivalled sport. Our third generation falconry dogs are a constant source of fascination and admiration by our customers as they join us to work on every hunting activity.
And finally and probably most significantly our falconers, We employ a team of some of the most experienced and dedicated individuals from around the world whose articulate, academic and professional approach ensures that you leave in awe at their combined knowledge and experience of these amazing creatures, this amazing ancient sport and the natural world we live in.
