Our "New" Family day allows the whole family to experience this wonderful and exceptional sport. As well as getting close to these wonderful birds, all the family will learn about the history and practises of falconry and all aspects of birds of prey both in the wild and in captivity. It is a unique educational experience for young and old alike.

The session caters for up to 2 adults as well as up to 3 children (from walking age up to 14) to participate in an unforgettable falconry session for  a duration of 2 to 2 1/2 hrs during the summer months.

Whilst the level of handling and flying our birds on a meet the birds session proves unsuitable for children under the age of 14, the Family session is tailor made for younger children's participation and education.

Your session will begin with a falconry lesson allowing every member of the family to handle and fly one of our smaller, friendlier species of bird, followed by the opportunity to fly several of our "Tiny" Team of hawks, falcons, buzzards and owls (this session does not include Eagle flying/handling for obvious reasons!)
