Apprenticeships in Falconry

Falconry is a superb sport but rushing into it can be an unforgiving mistake to both man and bird.

Many Falconry Centres offer short courses to boost their income at quieter times of year but the reality of such a complicated sport is that you’ll only be marginally better educated than when you started.

For this reason we started our unique Apprenticeship Scheme seven years ago.

The idea is that you attend our school as often as you can over a 12 month period, be it one day a week or several. During that time you’ll be trained to work along side our existing team of instructors. You’ll experience a full year in falconry from the breeding and rearing of the birds to the equipment manufacture and training of them, and at the end you’ll have both the knowledge and skill to train, fly and hunt with your own bird.

Our only condition is that you do not acquire your own bird until the apprenticeship is completed.

Failure to follow concise instructions by our staff may also affect your rights as a consumer.
We reserve the right to cancel days at short notice due to unsuitable weather conditions.
We do not allow unpaid spectators on any of our experiences.
We also do not allow casual callers on site. If you wish to visit then please contact us to arrange instructors.
